UiPath (PATH) shares fell almost 13% in midday trading on Wednesday, reversing a stretch of mostly steady gains that had built over the prior two weeks. In mid-afternoon trading, shares were down $1.58 to $10.46.
The drop interrupts what had been a broadly constructive run for PATH. Over the eight prior sessions ending July 21, the stock posted gains in seven of them. Wednesday's move erases a meaningful portion of that progress, which had contributed to a one-month gain of roughly 17%.

Latest Analyst Commentary on UiPath
Star Investments (July 20): Maintained a bullish view, pointing to UiPath's first full-year GAAP profitability, a price-to-sales ratio below historical medians, and growing AI product revenue as key supports for the thesis. Read more
The Alpha Analyst (July 15): Downgraded PATH to Hold, noting the stock remained approximately 15% below the author's November entry point and flagging AI commoditization risk as an unresolved overhang despite what the author described as steady underlying fundamentals. Read more
Investor Overview (July 14): Argued that PATH's roughly 15x forward earnings multiple did not reflect potential AI-driven revenue reacceleration, citing first-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue growth of 17% to $418 million and annual recurring revenue growth of 12% to $1.9 billion. Read more
What SA Users Are Saying About UiPath
Seeking Alpha community members discussing PATH leaned cautiously bullish heading into today's session, with technical optimism tempered by some skepticism about the company's long-term competitive position.
One SA user pointed to a potential golden cross setup and what they described as strong accumulation patterns, adding that elevated short interest, carried since the stock traded at much higher levels, could fuel short covering if buying pressure is sustained. Read more
Another commenter characterized the heavy trading volume accompanying the recent price uptrend as institutional accumulation rather than retail speculation, and flagged short interest estimated at roughly 30% of the float as a potential short-squeeze catalyst. Read more
One reader defended the value of UiPath's Maestro platform, arguing the company sells accumulated enterprise engineering experience and battle-tested bug fixes rather than technology that competitors could easily replicate with open-source tools. Read more
A separate SA community member suggested enterprises may struggle to implement AI internally without vendors like UiPath, arguing this dynamic could signal a revenue trough even amid structural cost shifts. Read more
One SA user described PATH as "mature" and currently unattractive for a new purchase, while acknowledging the quality of a cautious bullish analysis on the stock. Read more
