Dow (DOW) is scheduled to announce Q2 earnings results on Thursday, July 23rd, before market open.
Wall Street, on average, expects the global materials science company to post a quarterly EPS of $1.28 (+404.8% Y/Y) on revenue of $12.03B (+19.1% Y/Y).
Dow reported first-quarter results that beat Wall Street expectations for both revenue and adjusted earnings despite posting a net loss.
Recently, RBC Capital downgraded the chemical company to Sector Perform from Outperform, saying underlying polyethylene supply and demand remains unchanged, underpinning price weakness. Despite a price uplift in 2026, Dow's fundamental earnings backdrop remains unchanged compared to year-end 2025, as no structural supply/demand changes have materialized since the start of the U.S.-Iran conflict.
“North American production gives DOW a structural advantage as global natural gas prices rise, especially amid European and Asian supply risks,” pointed out a recent Seeking Alpha analysis.
