The US FDA has chosen Dexcom (DXCM) as the first participant in its Technology-Enabled Meaningful Patient Outcomes (TEMPO) Pilot Program.
The continuous glucose monitor maker said it would "implement an AI-powered glucose health program that integrates data from Dexcom G7 and Stelo with contextual health information such as nutrition, physical activity, sleep and stress, to deliver more personalized insights for healthcare professionals and program eligible users."
TEMPO's purpose is to examine new digital health technologies that work to improve chronic disease management and provide real-world data.
