不做 Molina Healthcare(MOH.US)
Centene(CNC.US)
Oscar Health(OSCR.US)

市场反应:MOH.US约-11%,CNC.US约-3%,OSCR.US小幅下跌。
MOH.US -11.24%,CNC.US -2.72%,OSCR.US -1.08%。

Despite reporting better-than-expected financials, Molina Healthcare (MOH) traded lower in the morning hours on Thursday, leading a decline among its managed care peers as analysts focused on its medical costs that exceeded estimates.
Molina (MOH) fell ~11%, marking its biggest intraday decline since February, while shares of competitors Centene (CNC) and Oscar Health (OSCR), which are yet to report Q2 results, also came under pressure.
On Thursday, Long Beach, California-based Molina (MOH) recorded $1.51 of adjusted EPS for Q2 on $10.9B in revenue, indicating a ~72% YoY and ~5% YoY decline, respectively, but exceeding the consensus by $0.11 and $90M.
The company’s overall medical care ratio reached 92.2% compared to 90.4% in the prior-year period and 92.5% projected by analysts, according to Bloomberg data.
However, its Marketplace business saw a spike in medical costs with MCR reaching 88.9% from 85.4% in Q2 2025 and surpassing 83.9% in the consensus, while membership in the unit also dropped to 230K with nearly a 60% decline from the prior year's period.
Baird analyst Michael Ha, with a Neutral rating on MOH, said headwinds in the Marketplace business remain a matter of concern. “We believe the primary focus of the MOH investment debate continues to be 2027 earnings power,” Bloomberg reported, quoting Ha.
Jefferies analyst David Windley, with a Hold rating, noted multiple issues in the company’s Marketplace business, which he said brings its viability into question. Molina’s (MOH) Marketplace enrollees “also declined slightly more than our estimates, meaning the (40%) organic attrition assumption seems likely, despite the overall market attriting more slowly," the analyst added.
