JetBlue Airways (JBLU) reportedly bonds dropped ahead of next week’s Q2 earnings report, driven by renewed investor jitters over economic headwinds.
The$2 billion in bondsdue 2031 fell more than 2 cents to about 84 cents on the dollar, the lowest price since their issuance in August 2024.
The move came after the budget airline invited fixed income investors to a meeting focused on the company’s liquidity and balance sheet in August, according to Bloomberg. A JetBlue spokesman said it regularly meets with investors to discuss strategy and performance.
