Modine Manufacturing (MOD) provided an update about its planned business split. The company announced a reorganization effective April 1, splitting its former Climate Solutions segment into distinct Data Centers and Commercial HVAC businesses.The change is intended to improve focus, allowing the company to better pursue growth opportunities, especially in data centers, while optimizing margins and cash flow. Starting in FY27 reporting, Modine will operate with three segments (Data Centers, Commercial HVAC, and Performance Technologies). It was noted that the structural shift does not affect the company’s overall financial position or its Performance Technologies segment results.Separately, Modine plans to spin off its Performance Technologies segment and combine it with Gentherm (THRM) through a Reverse Morris Trust transaction. Announced last January, the deal is expected to close by the end of this year, pending shareholder approval and standard conditions.
