- Entera Bio (NASDAQ:ENTX) said on Monday it priced an oversubscribed $275M private placement led by existing investor BVF Partners, with participation from several healthcare-focused institutional investors.
- The company will issue 122.96M ordinary shares and 11.84M pre-funded warrants at a purchase price of $2.04 per share.
- The offering is expected to close on or about July 28.
- Pursuant to the placement, BVF will receive the right to designate two directors to Entera's board, subject to applicable legal and Nasdaq requirements.
- The net proceeds, together with existing cash, are intended to fund the Phase 3 development of EB613 through the planned FDA New Drug Application submission.
- The company also plans to use the proceeds to advance EB612 into Phase 1 development with OPKO Health for hypoparathyroidism, as well as for working capital and general corporate purposes.
- The financing is expected to extend its cash runway into 2030.
