Stock futures edged up on Monday, kicking off August’s first trading session on a firm note as market participants weighed early diplomatic progress in the Middle East.
- Sportradar (SRAD) -20% - Shares tumbled after the sports technology company reported Q2 revenue that missed expectations and posted a net loss, overshadowing a raised full-year outlook. Revenue rose 19% to €378M, below estimates, while the company swung to a €3.5M net loss due to unrealized foreign exchange losses. Sportradar raised its FY2026 revenue and adjusted EBITDA guidance, but the weaker-than-expected quarterly sales weighed on the stock.
- Li Auto (LI) -4% - Shares fell after the Chinese EV maker reported July deliveries of 30,468 vehicles, down 0.9% Y/Y and ~15% lower sequentially, as a temporary headlight supply disruption reduced Li i6 production by about 4,000 units in the second half of the month. The company said the decline was less severe than June's drop and highlighted continued demand for its lineup despite the production hiccup.
- Tyson Foods (TSN) -4% - Shares turned lower after the food producer reported FQ3 revenue that missed expectations, overshadowing an adjusted EPS beat. Revenue edged down 0.1% to $13.9B, hurt by lower beef and chicken volumes, while adjusted EPS of $0.99 topped estimates. Tyson reaffirmed confidence in its chicken and prepared foods businesses and maintained its full-year outlook for 2.5%-3.5% revenue growth and $1.3B-$1.7B in free cash flow.
eBay (EBAY) -3% - Shares fell after Wells Fargo downgraded the stock to Underweight from Equal Weight and cut its price target to $92, citing concerns that increased marketing spending at Depop to fend off competition from Vinted could pressure profitability. The firm warned that heavier investment in Depop may weigh on FY2027 EPS, despite supporting faster growth and strengthening eBay's competitive position.
