- Danaher (DHR) announced on Monday that its Board appointed Julie Sawyer Montgomery as President and CEO, effective Oct. 1, 2026. She will also join the Board of Directors.
- Current CEO Rainer Blair will retire on Oct. 1 and remain a senior advisor through March 31, 2027, to support the leadership transition.
- The company said Julie Sawyer Montgomery has led its diagnostics platform since 2020 and helped grow the business from about $6B in revenue in 2017 to about $11B today, while approximately tripling operating profit.
