United Parcel Service (UPS) announced on Monday that it is investing more than $2B from 2024 through 2028 to strengthen its international, healthcare, and supply chain solutions businesses. The parcel delivery giant's initiative is intended to help customers move goods faster and manage changing trade routes, regulations, and supply chain uncertainty with greater flexibility, connectivity, and visibility.
Key projects include a new UPS (UPS) hub at Clark Airport in the Philippines, scheduled to open in the fourth quarter, and a new facility in Barrie, Ontario, planned for 2027. A new air hub at Hong Kong International Airport in 2028 is also part of the initiative. The investments will support strategic sectors including healthcare, high-tech, automotive, and industrial manufacturing.
UPS (UPS) is expanding its integrated logistics network so customers can combine air, ground, brokerage, and distribution services in a single solution. "These investments allow us to bring air, ground, brokerage, and distribution together in one solution, with fewer handoffs, more end-to-end control, and less complexity.
