Parsons Corporation (PSN) said Tuesday that its Sealing Technologies subsidiary received a five-year agreement worth up to $750 million to produce mobile cybersecurity systems for U.S. Cyber Command. Shares of Parsons (PSN) were little changed in premarket trading.
SealingTech is the sole prime contractor for the Joint Cyber Hunt Kit, or JCHK, under an Other Transaction Agreement. The award moves the program into full-rate production.
The modular system gives Joint Cyber Protection Teams a rapidly deployable platform for detecting, analyzing and responding to threats against U.S. and allied networks. It is designed to provide the capabilities of a security operations center in a portable, self-contained package.
“As the sole provider and prime contractor of the Joint Cyber Hunt Kit, we remain committed to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible at the edge, enabling the cyber mission and delivering exceptional results for our customers and the warfighter,” said Jake Nelson, vice president and general manager of SealingTech, in a statement.
The award gives Parsons (PSN) a potentially meaningful source of revenue over the next five years while strengthening its position in the growing military cybersecurity market. Its $750 million ceiling works out to an average of as much as $150 million annually, although contract ceilings represent maximum potential spending rather than guaranteed revenue. The sole-source designation also reduces competitive risk during the agreement and demonstrates that Parsons can turn research and development work into a large-scale production program.
Parsons (PSN) acquired SealingTech in 2024 to expand its capabilities in defensive cyber operations and edge computing. The new agreement provides evidence supporting that strategic rationale and could create opportunities for follow-on orders, software support and related work with U.S. allies.
Cyber Command’s JCHK replaces separate kits used by individual military services with a standardized platform intended to improve interoperability and speed deployment.
The system includes expanded data storage, faster processing and integrated analytics. It can support defensive operations on domestic networks as well as “hunt forward” missions, in which cyber teams work with foreign partners to identify malicious activity before it reaches U.S. systems.
SealingTech developed the platform using its experience with portable edge-computing systems and Cyber Fly-Away Kits. The equipment is designed to function in connected, disconnected and contested environments.
The JCHK program forms part of Parsons’ broader cyber and national-security portfolio, which serves U.S. defense and intelligence agencies. Cyber and electronic warfare generate more than 20% of the company’s total revenue, according to Parsons.
The company combines threat hunting, incident response and artificial intelligence-driven analytics with electronic warfare, intelligence and command-and-control technologies. The SealingTech award further shifts that business from specialized development work toward repeatable hardware and software production at scale.
