Critical Metals

Critical Metals Corp.(CRML.US)

CRML has traded in a volatile, wide range over recent sessions, with a gain of almost 23% on August 21 followed by a 6% decline the session before today.
The company, incorporated in the British Virgin Islands, holds a 42% interest in the Tanbreez Project in Southern Greenland, a permitted heavy rare earth element deposit with 27% HREE content and offtake agreements covering 100% of proposed output. It also holds a 20% stake in the Weinebene and Eastern Alps lithium projects in Austria. CRML remains a pre-revenue, early-stage exploration company, employing just four full-time staff as of mid-2025.
Short interest stands at nearly 26% of float. The elevated short positioning suggests today's move may have been amplified by short-covering pressure alongside the broader strength in critical minerals peers.

Sean Daly (February 20) rated CRML a Hold, describing the company as a pivotal potential Western HREE supplier through the Tanbreez project's offtake coverage, while flagging the absence of current revenue and significant execution risk. The note suggested technical entry points in the $7.60–$8.50 range. Read more
Seeking Alpha community members expressed mixed-to-skeptical sentiment on CRML, with some voicing long-term conviction in Greenland resource development while others flagged political risk, project delays, and short-seller dynamics as near-term headwinds.
