The Boeing Company (BA) shares snapped six straight sessions of losses, as the stock was up 0.3% at $211.07 on Tuesday.
The global aerospace firm fell about 7% in the preceding six sessions. BA is down 1% over the past one month, while the stock has fallen 2% so far this year, compared to a 12% rise in the broader S&P 500 Index (SP500).
Argus Research upgraded Boeing to Buy from Hold, citing expectations for a meaningful increase in aircraft production along with continued improvement in the planemaker’s financial performance.
Most recently, Boeing has been awarded a $131.23B ceiling, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the F-15 Eagle Crest program.
"Execution risks persist in Commercial Airplanes and Defense, but production, certification, and cash flow trends increasingly support the 2028 recovery case," pointed out a recent Seeking Alpha analysis.
