Honeywell Technologies shares ended 0.44% higher on Tuesday, snapping an eight-session losing streak.
The stock had fallen for eight straight sessions since Aug. 11. Earlier in the quarter, Honeywell topped Wall Street's second-quarter profit and revenue estimates and raised its full-year earnings outlook.
Bank of America subsequently upgraded the stock to Neutral from Underperform, citing broad-based order strength and improving visibility into second-half growth. Orders rose 16% organically to $5.7 billion, while backlog increased 9%.
Looking at Seeking Alpha's Quant Rating, HON has a Strong Sell rating with a score of 1.22 out of 5. The company received an F in the prospect of growth, while it got an F in the momentum factor.
Turning to the Wall Street community, out of 24 analysts, 15 gave HON a Buy and above rating. Eight analysts have given the stock a Hold recommendation, while one recommended Sell.
