Bitcoin ( BTC-USD ) prices gained little ground after a spectacular plunge the month earlier. It hovered around the $62K level on August 1, compared to around $59K at the beginning of July. The cryptocurrency, which began its fall in early June, returned to $70K levels in late August. On August 28, it touched a monthly high of $81,370.14. Among micro and small-cap firms, Bit Digital ( BTBT ) saw the highest short interest of 18.15%, while CoinShares ( CSHR ) saw the lowest at 0.52%.
