JFrog ( FROG ) announced on Wednesday a new suite of tools to secure and govern AI agents, helping companies ensure the software and AI assets they use are trusted and policy-compliant. The new capabilities can scan, block, and control risky AI assets, including models, plugins, and other components used by AI coding agents. The company is adding tools to help AI agents securely access trusted software dependencies through its Artifactory platform. JFrog said the tools are designed to help companies manage growing security risks as AI agents increasingly write software and use software dependencies with less human involvement. The company cited Gartner data showing 17% of organizations have deployed AI agents, while more than 60% expect to do so within the next 2 years.
