The jury is also deliberating on the matter of if Arm violated an agreement that would see Qualcomm pay a price within 10% of the lowest price for Arm's semiconductor designs. The lawyers have also asked the jury to determine whether Arm intentionally tried to kill a deal with Meta by leaking a letter to Bloomberg in 2024 alleging that Qualcomm was allegedly in breach of a certain license agreement. Presiding over the case, which is being held in a Wilmington, Del. Federal court, is U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika. Judge Noreika preceded over the same lawsuit in 2024. That case saw Arm unable to convince a jury that Qualcomm had violated its licensing agreement. Arm initially sued Qualcomm in 2022, stating that the San Diego-based chipmaker had violated its agreement.
