Stifel has resumed coverage of IDEAYA Biosciences ( IDYA ) at Buy, saying that the company's combination of darovasertib and crizotinib in first-line metastatic uveal melanoma could become the standard of care. The firm has a price target of $48 (~40% upside based on Oct. 13 close). Analyst Laura Prendergast said that the combo is set to become the SoC "in HLA-A*02:01-negative mUM with HLA-agnostic label," adding she is modeling a late Q2 2027 approval. Crizotinib is already approved and marketed by Pfizer ( PFE ) under the name Xalkori for non-small cell lung cancer. Pfizer is partnered with IDEAYA on trials of the darovasertib/crizotinib combo for uveal melanoma. Prendergrast sees worldwide revenue of ~$1.42B by 2035. Elsewhere in the pipeline, she highlighted the first-in-class, DLL3-targeting antibody-drug conjugate IDE849, which is in phase 1/2 for small cell lung cancer. The asset is set to move into phase 3 trial for those with extensive stage SCLC whose disease has progressed following treatment with Amgen's ( AMGN ) Imdelltra (tarlatamab) by the end of the year. Prendergrast is projecting global sales of IDE849 of $643M by 2035.
