Stock futures inched up on Wednesday as investors weighed a heavy wave of corporate earnings against persistent AI capital expenditure concerns and Middle East geopolitical tensions. Here are some of Wednesday's biggest stock movers: Biggest stock gainers Super Micro Computer ( SMCI ) +12% - Shares surged after the server and storage company raised its preliminary Q1 FY2027 revenue outlook to $18.5B-$19.5B from $14.5B-$15.5B, with the $19B midpoint well above the $14.94B consensus. Revenue at the midpoint would represent a 280% increase Y/Y, as strong demand for AI platforms drove the improved outlook. Supermicro also raised its gross margin forecast to 12%-12.5% from 10.4%-10.8%. The company plans to report full Q1 results after the market close on Nov. 3, with analysts expecting adjusted EPS of $1.04 and GAAP EPS of $0.95. Space Exploration Technologies ( SPCX ) +12% - Shares advanced after the rocket launch, and a satellite communications company reported Q3 revenue of $14.6B, up 161% Y/Y and $1.6B above consensus, while EPS of $0.35 beat estimates by $0.19. Net income reached $4.4B, reversing a $1.1B loss a year earlier, and adjusted EBITDA surged 306% to $8.8B. The Super Intelligence segment drove growth, with revenue jumping 830% Y/Y to $7.6B on new cloud services agreements, the Cursor acquisition, and increased Grok adoption. Connectivity revenue rose 69% to $5.2B, supported by Starlink subscriber growth and stronger enterprise and government demand, while space revenue increased 6% to $1.8B. SpaceX also completed its first revenue-generating Starship mission, delivering 26 Starlink V3 satellites, as nameplate AI computing capacity reached 1.7 gigawatts at quarter-end. Dell Technologies ( DELL ) +6% - Shares rose after the company announced new AI Factory offerings developed with Nvidia (NVDA), spanning AI solutions, ecosystem integrations, desk-side agentic applications, and purpose-built AI infrastructure. Dell said more than 6,500 enterprises have adopted its AI Factory with Nvidia, up from 5,000 in the previous quarter. The latest additions include support for Reflection’s Beam model and integrations involving Dynatrace, Mistral, Fogsphere, and SUSE Linux, as Dell expands its AI infrastructure and enterprise software ecosystem. Biggest stock losers AT&T ( T ) -6% - Shares dropped despite the telecom company reporting Q3 revenue of $32.3B, up 5.3% Y/Y and above the $31.7B consensus, while adjusted EPS of $0.65 beat estimates by $0.05. Adjusted EBITDA rose 5.4% to $12.5B, and free cash flow reached $5.0B, slightly above expectations. However, AT&T added 379,000 postpaid phone subscribers, below the 387,410 consensus, while reported EPS dropped to $0.13 from $1.29 a year earlier, reflecting a $2.6B non-cash impairment charge tied to its Mexico wireless business and employee separation costs. The company raised its FY2026 adjusted EPS outlook to about $2.40 and maintained its free cash flow target of at least $18B while lowering its long-term capital investment outlook. Intuitive Surgical ( ISRG ) -4% - Shares plunged despite the maker of the da Vinci surgical system topping Q3 results. Results included a $450M pretax charge to settle previously disclosed antitrust class action litigation, reducing diluted EPS by $0.99. Adjusted operating margin fell 12.5 percentage points Y/Y to 26.4%. Intuitive Surgical also narrowed its FY2026 outlook for global da Vinci procedure growth to 14%-15% from 13.5%-15.5%, with growth expected near the midpoint, broadly in line with the 14.6% analyst consensus. The company now expects a non-GAAP gross margin of 68.7%-69.3% of revenue, vs. its prior outlook of 68%-69%, while maintaining its non-GAAP operating expense growth forecast of 11%-13%. Netflix ( NFLX ) -4% - Shares slid after the streaming giant reported Q3 revenue growth of 12% Y/Y, the slowest pace in three years, despite operating income rising 37% to $4.58B and beating the $4.27B consensus. Free cash flow of $2.88B fell short of the $3.23B estimate, while revenue performance was mixed across regions, with U.S. and Canada revenue rising 11% to $5.63B and Latin America revenue increasing 17% to $1.60B. Netflix forecasts FY2026 revenue of $51.1B, slightly below the $51.2B consensus, and Q4 EPS of $0.67 vs. expectations of $0.73, with revenue growth projected at 12%. The company expects a full-year operating margin of 31.5%, up from 29.5% in 2025, as investors assess growth momentum following its unsuccessful bid for Warner Bros. Discovery’s streaming and studios business. Abbott Laboratories ( ABT ) -4% - Shares fell after the healthcare company lowered its FY2026 comparable sales growth outlook to about 6% from 6.5%-7.5%, despite Q3 results that topped estimates. Revenue rose approximately 14.5% Y/Y to $13.0B, beating consensus by $20M, while adjusted EPS increased about 9% to $1.42, $0.01 above expectations, and gross margin expanded to roughly 57% from 56%. Nutrition revenue of $2.26B and Diagnostics revenue of $3.31B exceeded estimates, offsetting weaker-than-expected sales in MedTech and Established Pharmaceuticals. Abbott maintained its FY2026 adjusted EPS outlook at $5.50-$5.55, compared with its prior range of $5.45-$5.60, as it prepares to separate its Nutrition business into an independent publicly traded company by the end of 2027.
