CoreWeave ( CRWV ) was in focus on Wednesday as it unveiled workloads aimed at robotics and electric vehicles, as well as a framework for zero trust in the age of artificial intelligence. Shares rose more than 2% in premarket trading. Known as CoreWeave Physical AI Launchables, the workloads are packaged as templates to let developers and engineers work on robotics, autonomous vehicles, and simulation teams run their work with one command instead of rebuilding their environment first. It uses CoreWeave's existing tech stack, allowing for the infrastructure to provide observability into how a run is performing as the run is going on. It also uses CoreWeave Forge for developing and improving models and agents, CoreWeave said in a statement. The software comes from Nvidia ( NVDA ) and other companies in the respective fields, CoreWeave added. “Robotics and autonomous vehicle teams are doing some of the most demanding engineering in this industry, and they should be spending their time on it,” said Richard Ahlfeld, senior vice president of physical AI at CoreWeave. “Physical AI Launchables gives them a tested starting point for the tools they already use, so more of their time goes to the work only they can do.” “NVIDIA’s reference agent skills for physical AI are built to run on any cloud,” said Nakul Arora, director of product management, NVIDIA. “CoreWeave has built their own version optimized for their AI cloud and ships it with Physical AI Launchables, so these workflows run natively on their infrastructure and developers can focus on the physical AI problem rather than the orchestration underneath.” The service was unveiled at Nvidia's GTC Berlin event. Zero Trust in the age of AI Separately, on Wednesday, CoreWeave announced the Zero Trust AI Framework, which it calls a “customer-controlled security model that gives customers authority over access to their models, data, and runtime environments.” The framework allows customers to bring their existing cybersecurity systems to CoreWeave's cloud rather than rebuilding around a provider-defined security model, which the company said is especially important as agentic AI workloads become increasingly important. “Security for AI workloads cannot rest on a provider's promises about its own behavior,” said Chen Goldberg, executive vice president of product and engineering at CoreWeave. “Our customers are running their most valuable models against their most sensitive data. They should not have to take our word for how we handle either. The Zero Trust AI Framework replaces assurances with architecture, so the controls that matter stay in the customer's hands.” CoreWeave said it intends to use Nvidia's NVLink fabric, including the Nvidia HGX Rubin NVL8 for the confidential computing aspect of it, with the HGX Rubin NVL8 coming in the fourth quarter. The Zero Trust AI Framework was also unveiled at Nvidia's GTC Berlin event.
