Veradermics, Inc. (MANE), a late-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on therapies for pattern hair loss, announced it will review results from Part A of a Phase 3 clinical trial (Study 304) evaluating VDPHL01 in males with mild-to-moderate pattern hair loss. The company will host an investor call and live webcast on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 8:00 am ET.
Pattern hair loss, also known as androgenetic alopecia, affects an estimated 80 million people in the United States 30 million women and 50 million men as per company estimates.
VDPHL01, an investigational oral, non-hormonal drug, is in phase 3 development for pattern hair loss in both women and men. VDPHL01 leverages extended-release technology to deliver a minoxidil product with the potential for improved efficacy and safety.
The registration-directed clinical development program for VDPHL01 comprises three multicenter, randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trials that together enrolled more than 1,600 adult men and women with mild-to-moderate pattern hair loss.
These trials are intended to support regulatory evaluation of VDPHL01 for male and female pattern hair loss and include:

Each trial employs a 52-week design consisting of a six-month placebo-controlled period followed by a six-month extension in which all participants receive VDPHL01.
Co-primary endpoints at month 6 were change from baseline in non-vellus target area hair count (TAHC) and the proportion of participants reporting improved or much improved hair coverage on the AAIRS (Alopecia Impact Rating Scale). Studies 302 and 306 also include a Phase 2 component to further evaluate proprietary patient-reported outcome (PRO) measures.
If approved, VDPHL01 could become an oral non-hormonal treatment option for pattern hair loss in men and women.
The company cited projections estimating the pattern hair loss market could reach approximately $30 billion by 2028.
