CytoDyn宣布CEO交接：CFO Robert Hoffman接任CEO，Lalezari转任研究负责人

CytoDyn Inc. (CYDY), a clinical-stage oncology company, on Tuesday announced the appointment of Robert E. Hoffman as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective from October 20, 2026. Hoffman follows Dr. Jacob Lalezari, who held the position of CEO since November 2023. Lalezari will stay on with the company as Head of Research and Translational Sciences. This may allow him to focus on advancing the lead drug candidate leronlimab as a solid tumor therapy. Hoffman has served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at CytoDyn since May 2025. Bringing decades of experience in financial leadership at biotech companies to the role, Hoffman previously held the roles of President, CEO, Interim CFO and Chairperson of the Board at Kintara Therapeutics Inc. (KTRA). Prior to that, he served as CFO and Senior Vice President of Heron Therapeutics, Inc. (HRTX), CFO and Executive Vice President of Innovus Pharmaceuticals Inc. (INNV), and CFO of AnaptysBio (ANAB), Inc. Furthermore, he also serves on the Board of Directors at multiple biotechnology companies. CytoDyn's board stated that Lalezari supported the CEO transition and would provide support to the company's scientific endeavors. In addition to his duties as CEO, Hoffman will also continue as principal accounting officer of the company. CYDY is currently trading at $0.25, up 1.96%.
