Roivant Sciences Ltd. (ROIV) and Priovant Therapeutics Wednesday reported positive results from the Phase 3 CLARITY program evaluating brepocitinib for non-infectious uveitis (NIU), with the drug meeting the primary endpoint in both the CLARITY-1 and CLARITY-2 studies.
The program enrolled 371 patients across the two studies, which evaluated once-daily brepocitinib against placebo over 48 weeks. The primary endpoint was time to treatment failure, assessed from Week 6 through Week 48.
Brepocitinib showed consistent benefits across key patient subgroups, including different types and causes of uveitis. Safety findings were consistent with previous clinical trials, with no new safety signals reported.
Priovant plans to file a supplemental New Drug Application for brepocitinib in NIU in the first half of 2027.
On the Nasdaq, Roivant shares rose nearly 9% in premarket trading after closing at $34.92 on Tuesday.
