高通将在2026江陵ITS世界大会展示V2X交通安全技术，属展会演示无订单与业绩增量

Qualcomm announced on Oct. 19 that it will showcase traffic safety technologies and solutions based on vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications at the 2026 ITS World Congress in Gangneung, South Korea.
The ITS World Congress is an event focused on intelligent transportation system policies, technologies and services. It addresses future mobility issues, including connected vehicles, autonomous driving, smart infrastructure and artificial intelligence (AI). This year’s event runs from Oct. 19 to 23 at Gangneung Olympic Park in Gangwon Province.
Qualcomm will demonstrate seven technologies during the event and exhibit real-world applications. These include scalable V2X, advanced driver assistance system (ADAS)-based V2X, smart infrastructure, global V2X solutions and products developed by partners using Qualcomm technologies.
V2X enables vehicles to exchange wireless data directly with other vehicles, road infrastructure, pedestrians, motorcycles and other surrounding objects. Using radio signals, the technology can identify potential hazards and warn drivers even in blind spots or adverse weather conditions where visibility is limited. Conventional camera and radar sensors have been limited to detecting obstacles directly ahead or objects within their line of sight.
Scalable V2X allows communication capabilities and data processing levels to be adjusted flexibly according to driving conditions and vehicle performance.
ADAS-based V2X combines onboard sensor systems with V2X communications. Rather than simply warning drivers of potential hazards, the technology enables vehicles to initiate automatic emergency braking (AEB) or steering control.
Smart infrastructure refers to intelligent road environments equipped with communication modules and detection sensors installed in traffic lights, electronic road signs, streetlights and base stations.
Global V2X refers to V2X solutions based on worldwide standards.
Kim Sang-pyo, president of Qualcomm Korea, delivered a keynote speech titled “Accelerating Innovation in Traffic Safety.”
“Qualcomm has led mobile communications technology for more than 40 years and has worked with numerous partners to advance the V2X ecosystem, from standardization to commercialization,” Kim said. “We are supporting the development of safe and intelligent transportation systems that reflect real-world road conditions in South Korea.”
