Sacheon Airshow is an event showcasing technologies and products from aerospace and defense companies. This year’s event combines the existing aviation festival with the Global Aerospace and Defense Exhibition (GADEX). About 130 companies and organizations from South Korea and abroad are participating to showcase advanced technologies. The event also features export consultations and business meetings among global companies to support expansion into overseas markets.
Hanwha Aerospace is showcasing aircraft engines and unmanned aerial vehicle technologies designed for future battlefield environments. Its exhibits include a 5,500-pound-thrust turbofan engine, the Mohave STOL short-takeoff-and-landing unmanned aircraft, and tube-launched interceptor drones. In the space sector, the company is presenting South Korea’s Nuri launch vehicle.
The company is also highlighting plans for mutual growth with regional suppliers. Following a cooperation declaration ceremony in February 2026, Hanwha Aerospace signed agreements covering aircraft engine materials, components and machining, as well as unmanned aircraft and drones.
