DB HiTek续证IATF 16949汽车芯片质量管理认证，属例行续期且已被处理

DB HiTek said on Oct. 26 that it has renewed its IATF 16949 certification, an international quality management standard for the automotive industry.
The company passed renewal audits at its Bucheon and Sangwoo campuses. The certification covers all areas of its foundry manufacturing operations, which produce semiconductor products on behalf of customers.
IATF 16949 is an international automotive industry standard established by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF). It specifies requirements for establishing and maintaining consistent quality management systems across the automotive parts supply chain. Automotive semiconductors must withstand harsh operating conditions, including vibrations during driving and rapid temperature changes, making durability and safety essential to preventing accidents.
DB HiTek also operates its own Automotive Program in accordance with IATF 16949 requirements. The program includes qualification assessments to verify that manufacturing processes meet the standard and requires quality records to be retained for at least 25 years to support defect analysis and corrective actions.
DB HiTek became the first foundry in South Korea to obtain ISO/TS 16949 certification, the predecessor to IATF 16949, in 2003. The company has maintained its certification for 23 years through renewals every three years.
