today announced a major milestone in high‑limit gaming as the first-ever (more than) $5 million jackpot was hit
Wednesday, Oct. 14
on one of the recently installed $5 million Dragon Link games in the resort’s high-limit room.
The Las Vegas resident, who remained anonymous, captured the historic grand prize on a $1 machine having made only a $50 bet. This marks the first time a player has captured the full $5 million top prize since the links debuted in July.
“Our guests come here expecting the extraordinary and, this week, we delivered on that promise by paying our lucky winner more than $5 million,” said Sean Lanni, ARIA’s President and COO. “The opportunity to feature these games at ARIA, Bellagio and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas elevates our gaming floors and gives us the ability to offer our guests a premier, high-energy gaming experience.
