Expanding connectivity options within Oceaneering’s digital solutions portfolio to help accelerate remote operations and real-time decision-making.
HOUSTON, Texas — Oceaneering International, Inc. today announced it is now an authorized Starlink reseller, expanding its portfolio of digital solutions available to offshore, maritime, and industrial customers operating in remote and challenging environments. Starlink is a primary connectivity solution and can be integrated into resilient connectivity architectures designed to support operational continuity across remote and offshore operations. Reliable connectivity plays an important role in supporting today’s offshore and industrial operations, enabling access to data, remote collaboration, operational visibility, and communications across geographically dispersed assets and teams. As an authorized Starlink reseller, Oceaneering can offer customers an additional connectivity option as part of its broader portfolio of digital solutions, remote operations capabilities, and offshore services.
“Reliable connectivity is an important enabler of today’s digital operations,” said Leo Granato, Senior Vice President, Integrity Management and Digital Solutions (IMDS), Oceaneering. “Becoming an authorized Starlink reseller expands the connectivity options available to our customers and complements the digital solutions and services we provide to help improve visibility, enhance collaboration, and support informed operational decision-making.”
The expanded connectivity offering supports a wide range of customer applications, including remote operations and monitoring, real-time data transfer and analysis, offshore communications, digital asset management, inspection and integrity management workflows, and remote technical support services.
“Connectivity is only one part of the equation,” said JR Teakell, Sr. Manager, Digital Services, Oceaneering. “Customers need solutions that connect information, people, and operations. Our role is to integrate secure connectivity solutions with our operational expertise to help customers achieve meaningful business outcomes. The value comes not from bandwidth alone, but from how connectivity is applied to support safer, more efficient, and more informed operations.”
Backed by decades of experience supporting complex offshore and remote operations, Oceaneering brings together expertise from across its digital solutions, subsea robotics, and offshore services organizations to help customers maximize the value of connected operations. Through a One Oceaneering approach, customers can access the technologies, operational expertise, and project delivery capabilities needed to support critical operations worldwide.
