Alcoa Corporation(AA.US)
J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc.(JBHT.US)
CoreWeave, Inc.(CRWV.US)

- CoreWeave和J.B.

Speaker 3: We got to talk about Corweave. It's the stock of the day.
Speaker 2: It is. It is, really.
Speaker 3: And what a 24 hours it has had. That stock, believe it or not, is up 5.9% at the close, a little bit higher after hours as well. So check it out. CRWV is the ticker, but it was quite the cheerleading effort, really, from both the NVIDIA CEO, Jensen Huang, who was downplaying concerns about the company's debt. And then we also had a number of analysts kind of say, hey, this is a great buy-the-dip opportunity. And it looks like a lot of investors did exactly that into the close, and that's where we're in the green. But its debt concerns don't really go away, right? Because at the same time, we had a measure of its credit risk. climbing to an all-time high on Thursday, right? And so you can cheerlead all you want, but unless they do something about those credit metrics, really, I think is going to be the issue. So, you know, they ended higher today, but who's to say where they go next from here?
Speaker 2: You know, we talked to our Robert Schiffman of Bloomberg Intelligence. He's our senior tech credit analyst. And he said, you know, those credit, you know, where it's trading, it's been like that for a couple of weeks.
Speaker 4: He's like, nothing happened in the last 24 hours.
Speaker 2: What happened today? Right?
Speaker 3: Yeah.
Speaker 2: And then you look at the share price, the equity side of things, not the debt. We were down 9.5%. We were up 6%. That's a 15%, almost 16% swing.
Speaker 4: What do they say about the smart money, though, Carol?

Speaker 2: That's right.
Speaker 3: Trucks. I mean, you know what? It was in line in terms of their EPS, right?
Speaker 2: $ 1. 82 a month.
Speaker 3: Um, but that's not good enough. That's what we're seeing shares down a little bit after hours. So ticker JVHD, and they're currently down more than 2%. Uh, I, we're talking about this, right? It really is all about costs for, uh, industries like trucking and JV on definitely, uh, one of the companies that are At the intersection of this, we already heard from their CFO, Brad Jalko, saying last month that they are expecting earnings to drop. They are expecting costs to rise primarily because it's expensive to keep truckers. You have to give them bonuses. You have to give them a lot of incentives to stay. Speaker 2: All right.
Speaker 3: Okay.
Speaker 4: What else you got for us?
Speaker 3: Let's talk about alcohols releasing earnings after the bell. And that's a ticker AA. Doing pretty well, actually. Up about 2.6% after hours. Look, it was a stronger than expected third quarter. They're adjusted per share profit. 1.82 was 33 cents above the average estimate. So pretty hefty beat there. And they produced more aluminum during the quarter. They raised shipments by 13%. But look, the long-term risk is all geopolitical, right? There's kind of these concerns around supply because President Donald Trump is still wanting to push domestic production. And then, of course, disruptions in the Middle East, hitting some smelters there. It's had a bit of a U-turn, just aluminum prices throughout the year. It kind of sits just below $ 3, 000. In June, it was $ 3, 700 above that. So, yeah, a bit of a tumultuous time for aluminum and alcohol as a result.
