Total revenue for the second quarter of fiscal 2027 decreased 8% to $5.83 million from $6.35 million for the prior-year quarter. The decrease was due to a 9% decrease in product sales, partially offset by a 25% increase in contract research and development revenue. Net income for the second quarter of fiscal 2027 decreased 4% to $3.17 million, or $0.65 per diluted share, compared to $3.31 million, or $0.68 per share, for the prior-year quarter.
For the first six months of fiscal 2027, total revenue increased 36% to $16.9 million from $12.5 million for the first six months of the prior year. The increase was due to a 35% increase in product sales and a 38% increase in contract research and development revenue. Net income increased 39% to $9.57 million, or $1.97 per diluted share, from $6.89 million, or $1.42 per share, for the first half of fiscal 2026.
