消息传播链
- Reuters报道FAA批准波音737 MAX 7,确认多年认证悬念落地。市场反应:BA.US当日收涨8.03%,LUV.US收涨4.67%。

Stocks surge, Nasdaq up 2% to kick off August as Trump touts Iran negotiations
SEATTLE - The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration granted Boeing (NYSE:BA) an amended type certificate for the 737-7 airplane today, clearing it for commercial service, according to a company press release.
The 737-7 is the smallest and longest-range member of the 737 MAX family, offering 135 to 160 seats in a two-class configuration with a range of up to 3,800 nautical miles (7,040 km). The aircraft reduces fuel use and CO2 emissions by 20% and noise footprint by 50% compared to the airplanes it replaces.
The certification follows a multi-year testing program that began in 2018, which included more than 1,000 hours of flight and ground testing, extensive system safety analysis and human factors reviews, and an updated engine anti-ice system to address a condition discovered during flight testing.
"This important certification validates the rigor of our airplane’s design and recognizes the determination and resilience of our 737 MAX development team," said Stephanie Pope, president and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
Boeing and Southwest Airlines, the 737-7 launch customer, are preparing for delivery of the first airplane. A team is readying the first airplanes, including implementing updates to the airplane’s final configuration.
The FAA also updated Boeing Production Certificate No. 700 to include the 737-7.
The 737 MAX family order book stands at more than 7,200 airplanes, of which more than 2,300 have been delivered through the end of June 2026. Boeing is working to certify the 737-10 this year.
The information is based on a press release statement from Boeing.

[04:00] als price target calls for the stock to rise about another 14% over the year where it currently trades according to Bloomberg data, I.
[04:00] To AWS CEO Ma Garman joined our own Ed Lulo on Bloomberg tech earlier and he said that the potential AI business for the company.
[04:00] Is just massive so all in on AWS let's flip it on over to Boeing, also an outperformer in today's session.
[04:00] Tim pointing this out, thank you very much lost the 737 max I know up 8% in today's session.
[04:00] First of all we had a couple things going on, Boeing received sign off for the 737 max7 from the FAA ending a certification certification.
[04:00] Excuse me process upended by two fatal crashes and quality lapses, this review has been going on for about a decade or so.
[04:00] wing has about 282 unfilled orders for the max7, so that opens up that gateway, the certification of the max 7 key to rounding out.
[04:00] Boeing 737 family and helping it generate cash and improve its balance sheet after several tumultuous years to say the least.
[04:01] ut out B&P parabas also paribbas, I'm trying to rush through, raise their recommendation the French car to paraibba.
[04:01] Did took Spanish in high B from California?
[04:01] I know that raise their recommendation on the firm to outperform from underperform, the analyst there sees risks for the firm abating over the next year, so that's certainly.
[04:01] I throw one more in there first solar top gainer in the S&P 500 biggest move intra Day since October of 2025.
[04:01] U more than 10% the city analyst Vickerm Bay raised the firm's price target for solar to 297 from 29.
[04:01] For keeps a by rating, Jeffrey's meantime lowered their firm's price target on it to 196 from 207 and keeps a hold rating.
[04:01] 232 and change hereAll right those are some gainers I got some decliners I want to start with one in the hospitality industry.
[04:02] Marriott International, the company said that room growth for 2026 would likely come in at the lower end of earlier guidance shares fell by 7%.
[04:02] It's all about construction delays in the Middle East, it does expect net unit growth toward the bottom of its earlier forecast of foreign.
[04:02] half to 5% the company said in a statement and the conflict in the Middle East could continue to affect results according to Jennifer Mason and the companies.
[04:02] CFOIn the crypto world, shares of Circle Internet Group, also known as Circle fell today by about 3.6%.
[04:02] Got a note from Morgan Stanley, they downgraded circleir to underweight from equal weight, slash its price target from $106 to 38.
[04:02] That implies a 39% decrease from last price. Morgan Stanley cited lower expectations for stablecoin circulation of view that circles business.
[04:02] This model, too, we'll need to transition from reserve income toward transaction based revenue. And finally, a couple of restaurants on our.😊
[04:02] This afternoon Sweet green shares fell 8.2% yum brands down, let's go ahead and round that up to 3%.
[04:03] The CDC said that two deaths have been identified as part of the cyclosphora outbreak affecting Michigan, we also got the bloomloomberg news report.
[04:03] This afternoon it said that Michigan health authorities were actually in touch with Taco Bellll's parent company, Young Brands, about a parasitic outbreak in early.
[04:03] That was weeks before the company officially alerted Consumer sweetetgr down 8.2 young brands, apparent of Taco Bell down 2.9.
[04:03] All right, we are getting some earnings this out of palant here for the most recent quarter, its second quarter, it does look like a beat on.
[04:03] Bottom line 41 cents a share the street was looking for 35 cents on average revenue above estimates at 1.94 billion in the quarter.
[04:03] Was looking for about 1.81 here's your forecast we're going to start with the full year the company says for the full year expect revenue of 8..
[04:03] 15 billion to 8.16 billion so a tight range there, but more importantly, that's above where it had guided prior.
[04:04] 7.65 to7.66 so basically going from about 7.66 billion in guidance to about $8.16 billion in guidance on.
[04:04] Revenue side as far as operating profit, the company also nudging its forecast up higher to 4.89 to 4.9 billion.
[04:04] On average the street had been looking for about 4.5 so basically a beaten raise quarter for palanter, those shares up about7.
[04:04] the afterYeah, a bit of a reversal. maybe this is exactly what analysts were hoping for because not analysts, excuse me, investors in the name because the stock's down about 20.
[04:04] 9% to date it is off about 40% since the stock hit a peaked back in no, so some outperformance certainly went it.
[04:04] Comes to that outlook in terms of fiscal year is maybe why investors are saying, okay, here's a little bit of good news, 7.7% Tim to the upside.
[04:04] I'm looking at the press release right now for some commentary from Alex Carp, and it's very much in his style of speaking.
[04:04] The demand for AI sovereignty has been unleashed palantier is the only company according to al carp that is demonstrated can transform tokens into actual.
[04:05] Economic value, he says our customers trust us to provide them with maximal control over their operations data and decisions hes.
[04:05] The ruleule of 40 score, he says this quarter was otherworlly, our U.. commercial revenue grew, the rule of 40 score climbed to 155%.
[04:05] S the sovereign AI revolution makes us very optimistic about the future he said and the rule of 40 yet annual revenue growth and profit margin that it should.
[04:05] E out to 40% or higher to make the company thing and just a quick fact check they're not the only company, but who've actually hit that on the toky.
[04:05] Iue but nevertheless, those shares up about 8% now in the after hours trade, meanwhile, slightly to the downside is on semi.
[04:05] Chipmaker out with its results on the bottom line for the most recent quarter 56 cents a share up from 41 centsus share in the previous.
[04:05] Ajusted e that's a gap number adjusted eps at 74 cents a share that is a slight beat the street was looking for.
[04:06] Any1 cents a share revenue in the quarter we'll just call it almost in line with estimates 1.6 billion the street was open for 1.5 billion.
[04:06] And here is 1.59 billion here is your forecast the company says that for the current quarter expect eps of 81 cents to 93.
[04:06] share the street on average was looking for 84 cents and it says expect revenue of 1.65 to 1.75 billion street.
[04:06] Ral' is looking for 1.67 billion and what's interesting is you're seeing the stock certainly rally in the aftermarket it's.
[04:06] It's been on a bit of a tear this year up almost 50% year to date, 8% of that float is short, they've got a fair amount of exposure.
[04:06] To the industrial space automotive in particular, so we'll be looking for some commentary on that, but again, investors liking what they heard, this is the company.
[04:06] Adjusted operating expenses forecast ms estimates for the third quarter, that's just a quick headline on some of our commentary on the bloomberg.
[04:06] Again, on semi up about 2% here in the aftermarket and we'll continue to watch also palanter that one we've seen moving as well, I'm just going to bring it.
[04:07] Real quick on my Bomberg and it is up 8.8%, all right, that's a wrap, romaine, you can do this alone.
[04:07] We got a slow Bloomberg there, we got to get you pro the pro subscription what you aboutmaine before?
[04:07] Be saying I don't have as my tools are good I'm just going to tell you, I'm sure it's fine, it's just, I got a lot of stuff on here on one little panel, I'm just going to say.
[04:07] All right, you know, I hope you don't feel lonely over there, all right, that is a wrap across platform, romaine and oh, romaine solo.
[04:07] Who's on TV, Tim and I continuing on Bloomberg Business Week daily right here on radioio folks, we will see you again same time, same place tomorrow maybe and can bring up.
[04:07] wrap we come back a deeper dive into the tech trade with those earnings of.
[04:07] And on semi now on the wire, we're going to catch up with lindsay bell when we come back after the break right here on bloomomberg.
[04:08] People are probably going to have.
[04:08] One, maybe two, maybe a small handful of agents that they rely on, and maybe they have a personal agent.
[04:08] Focus on things like their health and maintaining their personal relationships and you know, perhaps they use that same agent in their work lives, especially.
[04:09] Working in a small business or they're an entrepreneur, or maybe there's worlds where if you work within a larger enterprise or a larger company then.
[04:09] 🎼Become bifurcated and separated, not too much unlike email, let's say Yeah, we think that ultimately it should.
[04:09] Agents will be something that become deeply personal and should be things where over time you find yourself being.
[04:09] Rely on them more and more and more for more and more of your personal life, more and more of your work life, and that'll be a process that all society goes.
[04:09] 🎼ec is embedded in every aspect of our lives.
[04:09] 🎼And that revolution is playing out in real time, from finance to defense tech, AI to entertainment from the road.😊
[04:09] 🎼To the stars, Bloomberg is bringing you the stories of companies and people that are pushing tech to new frontiers and the politics.
[04:10] 🎼Three shaping global tech markets I'm Ed Lodlow live in San Francisco and this is Bloomberg Tech.😊
[04:10] 🎼Every weekday only on Bloomberg television.
[04:10] The countdown is on everything you need to get the edge at the end of the market day.
[04:10] This is the close welcome back to the close here.
[04:10] Trading day of the month of august coming off a tumultuous july and believe it or not, the s&P putting together three straight days of.
[04:10] Gins now remember it closed out july with back to back gains today it adds to that 1. a5 percent right at that 7600 mark and now.
[04:10] Well, above all of its key moving averages, the nasq 100 and nasq composite each add in about 2% in some of today's gains, of course8.
[04:10] By this drop that we saw in yield and more importantly, by this drop that we saw in crude oil prices, in fact, of course, it has the opposite effect on.
[04:11] Some of the names in the crude and gas space, including Chevron, which was down about almost 2% here on the day, in fact, most of the complex in.
[04:11] Oil and gas space taking a little bit of a lake lower meanwhile you had a name like boeing up about 8 percent in fact the best day for that stock in about a year.
[04:11] A big upgrade over at bmp paraba and finally certification of that new 737 max as far as a tech space.
[04:11] We're finally starting to see some of these hyperscalers get their mojo back coreweave up 19% on the day Amazon.
[04:11] Third straight day up about 5% in fact, Microsoftst also up for a third straight day as well, remember you had seen a big sell off in those names.
[04:11] Back in ju and ju, but some investors now feeling like they can reembrace that story and that is our top story.
[04:11] After one of the worst momentum sell offs in history is the painover for some of these AI stocks well Morgan Stanley strategist Mikeke Wilson seems to think.
[04:12] citing a quote, largege player exiting most of its public equities portfolio as a typical endpoint for this kind to unwind.
[04:12] sumably, that's an unspoken reference to the situational awareness hedge fund swoon of last week Now Wilson does make the point, though,.
[04:12] The next momentum cycle will likely look a bit different than the last, a rotation towards so called quality shares with.
[04:12] Stable earnings history within that tech and AI space you saw some of that play out last week with the diverging investor reactions to tech earnings.
[04:12] Great discernment over the real deals in AI and the pretenders, it's become a hallmark of this earning season and well it continues this week.
[04:12] AD and SpaceX, they're out tomorrow and today in the here and now we just heard from palantir and on semi.
[04:12] I mean, not too shabby, but palant here, a nice beaten raise quarter that i think a lot of investors were hoping they would finally get lindsey be into.
[04:12] Converation chief investment strategist over at 248 ventures and lindsay that is where I want to start here there was kind of a kind of a wholesale throwing.
[04:13] the baby with the bathwater it seemed for a few weeks as a lot of people said the AI trade had just gone too far too fast, we saw a reset of some of those valuations.
[04:13] And now as we continue to get the earnings, the E is there, the question is, does that P now start to get run back up?
[04:13] Well, I think the problem is is that earnings, it's likely that growth peaked in Q2 at 130% I might add for the sum.
[04:13] Conductors and it should continue to be over 100% for the next two quarters, so not we're not seeing any sort of massive deceleration.
[04:13] For semiconductors, we're going to see great earnings, and it's nice, though, to see on semiconductor come out and the stock react positive.
[04:13] Because that really hasn't been the case across semiconductors, even though it has been a really good earning season for this semi and I think we're.
[04:13] Start to see now is just like you said, we're starting to see a little bit of maybe a healthy rotation out of the semis back into the mag set.
[04:14] Even though the semis got into correction territory, this upswing, double digit upswing in the Mag7 in the last couple weeks, really.
[04:14] Is starting to close the gap in the price performance between the two Well, that's what I thought was interesting too because it was like, you know, like even today where.
[04:14] had this big rally, typically when you have these big broad market rallies, it's usually the Philadelphia semiconductor index that's well out in front of every.
[04:14] And you actually had it underperform the S&P, if you cant believe it, I mean, forget the nasdaq and the rest of those names, I mean what does that say?
[04:14] About this idea of where people are looking at this tech trade, the idea that maybe it won't necessarily be led by the.
[04:14] Chps and maybe it will be led by, if not the hyperscalers, maybe some of the other tech names Yeah, you know what, I think what we're seeing with this.
[04:14] Earnings quarter for the hyperscalers for the Mag7 in particular is that we're finally starting to see that this this.
[04:14] This experimental phase, as Microsoft called it in the AI space is turning to a foundational technology layer.
[04:15] And that means it's actually turning into real revenue a margin growth, I mean, you look at Microsoft as you're crossing 100 billion in.
[04:15] Revenue for the first time you look at Amazon's AWS margins expanding to 37% and alphabet, the Google cloud.
[04:15] 82% in revenue growth, and so these are really impressive numbers I think finally investors are feeling more comfortable about their.
[04:15] exAnd you even have players like Microsoft saying we're holding our capex spend where we're at now showing some sort of discipline.
[04:15] AMda is still there, so that should help support the semiconductors going forward again. we've come off more than 20% I think.
[04:15] The 200 moving day average is the momentum area that we're looking at in the semi to gain some traction, and I don't think that that's.
[04:15] I just told you earnings growth is going to be over 100% in the next two quarters. There's definitely more room to run in those stocks.
[04:16] The idea I know onse isn't traditionally talked about in the AI space the way some of the other names are, though they've made a big push into that space but they also have that.
[04:16] Bdge intoto sort of the analog and the sort of more industrial types as well when you look at a chip make and you're thinking you know where.
[04:16] What you want to be associated with as an investor, is it just kind of the pure play, AI name, like an Nvidia or somebody or do you want maybe a chipmaker?
[04:16] It's a little bit more diversified I think it's good to be diversified and I think within the semi space, but also I think that's why.
[04:16] These hyperscalers and the Mag7 stocks are starting to show their real strength because they are diversified of other parts of their businesses.
[04:16] Even Amazon talked about their retail business and the strength there and the operating margin expansion that they're seeing there.
[04:16] General, being in the players that have diversified business lines is a good way to protect yourself from potentially any.
[04:16] sortrt of softness that may come into the market, but I just think it's a great place to be diversified and find quality.
[04:17] In generalI mean, it's interesting too because on semi had been underperforming palanter to a certain extent had been underperforming, I do just want to draw your attention to it.
[04:17] St that has been a huge underperformer this year and that snapped their earnings just crossing the wire right now and they're actually up about 12% here.
[04:17] After Iowa's trade beating on pretty much every key metric, revenue, eda, daily active users, and they're also guiding us.
[04:17] Slightly above what the street was looking for going forward and i know you haven't had a chance to see these numbers, lindsey, but i do just want to get your thoughts about this idea.
[04:17] That some of these tech companies that had gotten left behind because they weren't maybe right dead center in the AI story, have we kind of forgotten them?
[04:17] We talk about meta, which is just a huge ad jugger not forget whatever Zuckerberg's trying to do with these data centers, but snap and the same thing, I know's not.
[04:17] A behemoth, but it is a reliable, steady generator of ad revenue, and I'm wondering if there is value to be found in some of those names.
[04:18] I think there is value to be found because these are companies that are putting up numbers that are not just mediocre they.
[04:18] Substantial growth on the top and the bottom line, and they've been forgotten about as everybody has chased the shiny new object, which has been the AI trade.
[04:18] And the semiconductors have been the main beneficiary of that for the vast majority of the year, and they ran so far that they got the dispers.
[04:18] between them and the rest of the tech trade has it just got too crazy. And so now I think we're coming back to.
[04:18] And I think investors are seeing a sense of rotation into some of the names that have been forgotten, but it remain high quality.
[04:18] Cash flow are investing and have future demand that is going to continue to drive and grow the operating profits.
[04:18] forwardndsay always a pleasure lindsay bell, chief investment strategist over at 248 ventures and speaking of the tech.

[04:20] Can this really continue at this rate, what we see in our data as a consumer so spendingending to consumer spending in America, that means economy is okay and that problem.
[04:20] The rest of the markets and the construct and the final there what are the potential thresholds that could potentially sty me some of the pipeline.
[04:20] Because they see opportunity, what's equipment buying, what it's hiring, what's building a plant, whether it's the inventory buildup don't miss Bberg surveillance live.

[04:21] SpaceX, its set the report.
[04:21] Earning's results tomorrow, its first report for Ellon Musk since he took the company public to share his trading well below with IP.
[04:21] Price of 135 bucks, but that doesn't mean that expectations for this print aren't high ju joins us right now analyst.
[04:21] Atson, the firm has a neutral rating on the shares with a price target of 131 what exactly are they?
[04:22] Expectations here, julie, because I never know what to make of really any elon Musk company are people going into this looking for an actual revenue and eps number.
[04:22] Or are they looking for whatever sort of a moonshot pie in the sky forecast at Elon Mus?
[04:22] My give about where this company might actually go in the future first of all, thank you for having me remain.
[04:22] That's a great question, I'd say off the bat SpaceX IPO to great expectations and it's not clear to.
[04:22] UAnd I would be remiss not to mention Nick Ddeo and Craig Moffet my colleagues Co cover Spacex with me and our point of view.
[04:22] I that we're probably not going to hear all that much tomorrow to help us reset those expectations and the way that we think about projections and forecasts.
[04:22] Versus the rest of consensus is that, look, we're well below consensus on the AI and connectivity segments of the.
[04:22] For a number of reasons that we can talk about and tomorrow we're probably not going to hear anything that's going to either prove or disprove.
[04:23] we'll talk about the AI and connectivity and just give me a sense here of how you value this company, Julie in terms of like, I mean.
[04:23] Is it a rocket launch company, is it an AI company, is it Starlink, is it all of the above?
[04:23] SpX, in our view, sort of has almost a bit of an identity crisis if you think about it, they have so many different.
[04:23] Part businessAnd for us, the crown jewel is really the launch piece of the business without the bottleneck rocket capability.
[04:23] It's difficult to think of the connectivity business being available, the AI orbital data.
[04:23] Centers wouldn't even be a topic of discussions without it. And then when we think about valuing a business such as this, you have the piece that we call.
[04:23] The known knowns and known unknowns, which are really the connectivity and the terrestrial eye piece.
[04:24] You can put numbers around and then you have a component in the business that's likely going to come from the launch bottleneck for all sorts of space really.
[04:24] TAm expansionary activities that are difficult to put a finger on today, but are absolutely necessary to include an evaluation.
[04:24] If you believe in this category of one launch position, give me a sense of what you expect with regards to capex spend and what i presume is going to be.
[04:24] Cash burn we continue to expect elevated levels I think tomorrow what you're.
[04:24] ' going to see coming out of the numbers is you're probably going to see a beatat in the AI business and're.
[04:24] We going to see continued spend in that business if you remember space that signed.
[04:24] These terrestrial infrastructure as a service deals with Google, with reflection AI, with anthropic at significantly.
[04:24] Advantage dollar per gigawatt pricing and they're going to continue to invest behind that business as long as you see that there is.
[04:25] A continued bottleneck and request for compute capacity now based on my colleague Nick's research, this price.
[04:25] Is two to three times what you typically see is at a neocloud and there's going to be a question.
[04:25] sustainability going forward, but tomorrow you're probably going to see that be a positive or a good guy All right, Julie, great stuff really insightful.
[04:25] t to get you back, Julie zhu, research analyst over at Moffatt, nason, and for those folks that do care, there is consensus on the bloomloberg terminal revenue.
[04:25] Estimates the expectation 6.81 billion in the most recent quarter with the ai segment boasting an operating loss of about 2.3.
[04:25] 9 billion and an overall loss per share estimate of 24 cents will have full coverage of those earnings tomorrow right here on the close.
[04:25] When we come back well, we're going to get into the world of well, stable coins, crypto and everything else shares the circle finishing the day in the red after competing calls over.
[04:26] St we're going to catch up with dan dvoz in a second plus we're going to take a larger look at the rails behind crypto with the yellow car.

[04:18] Well, we're going to get another big test tomorrowX they're set to report earnings first earnings report as a public company and.
[04:19] Since this is whether the hype can live up to our reality check Julie Zhu over at Mo at Neen, she joins us next right here on the close right here on Bloomberg.
[04:20] In case you missed it on Bberg surveillance which analyst we've got a was.

[04:21] boldest of her was was that was brave from Newcastle.
[04:21] This decision I've made it was so hard and what she's looking for in her next football club I just want a challenge.
[04:21] In the podcast version of leaders with Franine Laqua, listen and watch on Bloomberg television or wherever you get your podcasts.
