Groundbreaking Ceremony of SYTECH's Songshan Lake Second Factory Project Grandly Held
On July 28, 2026, the groundbreaking ceremony of SYTECH's Songshan Lake Second Factory was grandly held at the Songshan Lake Eastern Industrial Park in Dongguan. Representatives from the Dongguan Municipal Government and relevant municipal departments, representatives from the Songshan Lake Administrative Committee and relevant departments, representatives from construction, design, and supervision contracting parties, as well as SYTECH shareholder representatives, management, and employee representatives gathered at the project site to witness this milestone moment.
SYTECH Chairman Chen Renxi delivered the welcoming address. He reviewed SYTECH's forty-year journey of growth from its beginning in Dongguan to become a global leader in the Copper Clad Laminate industry, expressing gratitude for the trust and support from the Dongguan government at all levels over the years. Mr. Chen stated that the Songshan Lake Second Factory represents a new starting point for SYTECH's strategic growth. With a total project investment of approximately RMB 5.2 billion, the factory will focus on high-end areas such as high-frequency and high-speed materials for AI servers, base materials for intelligent automotive electronics, and packaging base materials, aiming to establish a specialized high-end copper clad laminate manufacturing base in South China. SYTECH will continue to uphold the "Five Sharing" philosophy, giving back to Dongguan through even more outstanding performance and green, sustainable development, resonating with the city's growth and contributing to the high-quality development of the electronics industry.
Li Huanghou, General Manager of Zhonghong Construction Group, delivered a speech as the representative of the construction contractor. Having been rooted in Dongguan for nearly two decades, Zhonghong Construction possesses professional construction qualifications and extensive project experience. Mr. Li expressed gratitude for SYTECH's trust and support and stated that the company would undertake the project with high sense of responsibility and professionalism. Given the tight schedule and high technical requirements, the contractor pledged to strictly control project quality, uphold safety standards, and scientifically coordinate the construction timeline to ensure the project's timely completion, delivering a quality project to the owner and laying a solid foundation for this key industrial project.

SYTECH High-Performance Copper Clad Laminate Project Overview
The SYTECH High-Performance Copper Clad Laminate Project is the second South China production base established by SYTECH at its headquarters, Dongguan. The project is located on the southeast side of the intersection of Dongping Avenue and Jiangnan Avenue, Songshan Lake Eastern Industrial Park, Dongguan. It is planned to occupy approximately 298 mu of land with a total investment of approximately RMB 5.2 billion. Construction is scheduled to officially commence in 2026 and will be carried out in two phases, with the first phase investing approximately RMB 3 billion and expected to commence production in 2027.
The project is planned to have an annual production capacity of 48 million square meters of high-performance copper-clad laminates and 100 million meters of prepreg. Its product portfolio targets automotive electronics, high-frequency and high-speed materials for telecommunications and AI servers, as well as packaging base materials for advanced packaging, and high-density interconnect products, continuously meeting the high-end technology demands of the future electronic information industry. Upon completion and commissioning, the project will stay rooted in Dongguan, serving the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and extending its reach to global markets, providing critical material support for key technologies such as AI, cloud computing, 6G communications, and intelligent automotive electronics.
