a Project Development Agreement (PDA) with Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “SABIC”) and Rongsheng New Materials (Zhoushan) Co., Ltd. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Rongsheng Petrochemical) to jointly advance the development of the Jintang New Materials Project in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province, China.
Under the PDA, Rongsheng Petrochemical and SABIC are evaluating a potential equity investment by SABIC in Rongsheng New Materials ranging from thirty percent (30%) to up to fifty percent (50%), which may position the project as a strategic collaboration between two leading global petrochemical companies. The agreement also establishes a cooperation framework for subsequent project development activities and lays the foundation for the parties to advance towards a potential final investment decision (FID).
